Ethan Li

Ethan Li graduated Cum Laude from Deerfield Academy in 2025 and is now a first-year student at Cornell University, where he is majoring in Physics and Mathematics, with concentrations in Computer Science.

At Deerfield, Ethan balanced a demanding academic program with deep involvement in athletics and student leadership. He was a three-year captain of the varsity tennis team, earning All-NEPSAC Class A honors and leading the program to multiple playoff appearances. He also served as a dormitory proctor and contributed to school spirit initiatives.

Ethan is now a published undergraduate researcher and a certified private pilot, experiences that have shaped his interest in quantitative reasoning. At Cornell, he remains involved in Club Tennis and is pursuing coursework and research at the intersection of physics, computation, and data.
