Kabir Sheth
Kabir Sheth graduated Cum Laude from Deerfield Academy in May 2025 and now attends Brown University, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Finance and Environmental Studies. At Deerfield, Kabir balanced a rigorous academic curriculum with extensive leadership roles, serving as a leader of the Entrepreneurship Club, Environmental Club, and South Asian Student Alliance. He was also an active member of Deerfield’s musical community, performing with the Chorus, Honors Vocal Ensemble, and the Mellow-D’s, the school’s men’s a cappella group.
Beyond academics and extracurriculars, Kabir was deeply engaged in the Deerfield community. He served as a freshman dormitory proctor and participated actively in the Community Service program as an EcoRep. As a recipient of the Workman Grant, he led initiatives to improve environmental literacy in his hometown of San Diego, California. In recognition of his leadership and character, Kabir was selected by his peers to deliver the senior commencement speech and was awarded the Deerfield Cup by the faculty, the Academy’s highest student honor.
At Brown, Kabir continues to explore the intersection of environmental science, finance, and entrepreneurship through the Open Curriculum and campus organizations. He remains passionate about the outdoors as a member of the Outing Club and Fishing Club, and enjoys exploring the greater Providence area—always in search of the best spot to catch a New England sunset.
